SHINee’s Minho and 2AM’s Jo Kwon do Change on Star King

On the February 20th episode of SBS Star King, there was a segment where the contestants danced to the recent popular dance track, Change by Hyuna.

4minute were part of the watching guests on this episode so naturally Hyuna would eventually step onto the stage herself and groove to her own track with the contestants. She looked kind of freaked out at some parts but managed to keep her composure. The fun part though was when Leeteuk motioned for SHINee’s Minho to go on to the stage where he showed his unique crotch thrusts, much to the delight of everyone present.

Although Jo Kwon also took to the stage after him, I would say Minho did it better than him this time. It was fun then to see everyone get on stage at the end for Change.

There was another highlight on this episode from another SHINee member, Key who danced to a medley of idol girl group hit songs.

It was indeed an interesting episode for SHINee fans especially.

CNBLUE performs “I’m a Loner” on Inkigayo

CNBLUE’s given us a fresh taste of pop rock and live music with their performance of I’m a Loner on various music shows. On this evening’s episode of SBS Inkigayo, the young men performed their hit track yet again to a receptive crowd.

It’s great to see that CNBLUE’s fan following hasn’t wavered since the recent plagiarism accusations broke out against the band’s management company FNC Music. Even though the whole situation is muddled up, you can’t deny that CNBLUE’s performing a great track.

Watch CNBLUE’s I’m a Loner performance now:

2AM triumphs with Won’t Let You Go Even if I Die on Inkigayo!

2AM has become quite the fan favorite with their comeback track Won’t Let You Go Even if I Die, and there’s little question why – each member of this group is seriously talented! Many music fans believed that powerhouse girl group SNSD would take the Mutizen on this week’s episode of SBS Inkigayo, but 2AM came out on top, winning a Mutizen for the first time in their career.

Clad in white & silver and swamped with fog up to their knees, the 2AM boys pulled off yet another great performance:

This week’s Take 7 nominees were SNSD for Oh!, CNBLUE for I’m a Loner, 2AM for Can’t Let You go even If I Die, HyunA for Change, SeeYa, Davichi & T-ara for Wonder Women, Kim Jong Kook for This is the Person and Gavy NJ for Sunflower. Unfortunately, HyunA could not perform due to 4minute’s promotions in the Philippines. Well, CNBLUE’s short-lived reign lasted just a week with 2AM taking the lead tonight. Congrats to them!

Upon their victory, the boys visibly choked up. I swear, these guys are way too precious…

Seulong & Changmin: Firstly, we’re grateful for Director Hong and our hyung who’s now in America. Secondly, we’re thankful for Young Goon hyung. Thirdly, we’d like to thank our Yang Yang Salon hair stylists. Kwonnie is crying… Kwon, you should say something.
Jo Kwon: Everyone, thank you. Thank you to the Lord and thank you to my parents.
Changmin: Yes, thanks to our I AM’s. We will continue to persevere as 2AM. I love you mom & dad!

Although we’ve seen 2AM perform this track a few times already, this ballad is hard to get tired of; I’m sure many fans still have this song on repeat. Congrats to the members for their well-deserved and hard-won victory!

U-Kiss is going Round on Inkigayo

Boy group U-Kiss held their final round of comeback stages on today’s Inkigayo! As the roars from the fangirls get louder with each performance, the boys continue to step up their routine each time.

Round and Round is a track produced by Brave Brothers, the same mastermind behind their Man Man Ha Ni hit in ‘09. These two kpop powerhouses are definitely a great combination when it comes to bringing hit tracks back to kpop! Check out their performance below.

g.o.d ignored 2AM’s Seulong?

2AM is currently on a roll with their new song, Even If I Die, I Won’t Let You Go. Member Seulong recently told a story about him meeting legendary idol group g.o.d.

On the latest episode of Intimate Note, Seulong said, “When I was in Grade 1~2, I was a child actor. During my acting days, I got an autograph from g.o.d.” He continued, “I was at the MBC center late at night, and saw g.o.d. I went and asked for an autograph. Kim Tae Woo hyung came and told me to work hard.”

Danny Ahn, who was also in the episode, said, “I remember Seulong back then. I thought that he was going to do well.”

Seulong then corrected, “I remember that everyone was ignoring me except for Tae Woo hyung.”

Hmm… I wonder what the former g.o.d member said to Seulong after the recording…

SNSD , CN BLUE & 2AM wins performs on music bank

SNSD Oh’s! to Music Bank K-Chart win on comeback

SNSD finally made their comeback last week with their second album and a peppy music video. With explosive first day sales, the nine girls performed their addictive hit track Oh! on KBS Music Bank!

The girls definitely know how to liven up the stage and get the crowd going with their cute outfits, wonderful choreography and long slender legs. We’ve still got a follow-up music video with a new concept to look forward to, so enjoy this colorful cheery mood while it lasts as a dark and sexy one will be coming your way soon!

And that was not all and you must have expected this when the SNSD girls had announced their comeback earlier.

The competitors for the first K-Chart of February 2010 were 1-time winner CNBLUE with I’m a Loner. 2AM with Won’t let you go even if I die and SNSD with Oh!.

And it was the girls who came out on top with an amazing overall score of 23,077 points (new record!), far surpassing the amount garnered by CNBLUE and 2AM. Will they go on a super run like Gee in 2009? Well, we will just have to wait and see.

But it looks like they just might! One down, 8 more to equal Gee’s record
