nfinite 'Evolution' #3 on Hanteo real-time charts immediately after release

Idol group Infinite's second mini album 'EVOLUTION' has entered Hanteo's real-time charts immediately after the release of the album.

Infinite is gathering a lot of interest as they are joining top male idol groups such as DBSK and GD&TOP on the charts. Also Infinite's title song 'BTD' has been recorded into the high ranks on Daum music.

Fans who have been waiting for Infinite's new album showed reactions such as 'As an idol group the album is full of good songs', 'I want to see them quickly on stage', 'I can never be sick of these songs' as soon as the album was released.

wHO DID NETIZENS CHOOSE FOR THE BEST ACTOR .. ?

KBS Sungkyunkwan Scandal’s Park Yoochun (24) was chosen by Netizens as “2010 best drama actor”.

Every year East Asia Daily’s magazine O₂ specialized in pop culture selects the best actor from dramas. through the primary trial with 11 actors from 10:00AM December 3rd to 5:00PM on the 10th online voting results, Park Yoochun received number 1 with 11607 votes.

The voting this time includes 11 actors from 65 dramas by 3 wireless channels. Judging involves East Asia Daily, East Asia sports, dongA.com and other 14 reporters and columnists involved with East Asia performing arts.

“Park Yoochun”, from Idol group “TVXQ” was known as “Micky Yoochun”, used his real name with his first acting challenge starring in Sungkyunkwan Scandal, earned comments about him successfully entering the acting circle. A long with Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu from “TVXQ” they formed the unit “JYJ”, using the name “Yoochun” simultaneously continuing his activities as a singer.

Magazine O₂ will combine the results from the voting, with the scoring from a judging panel of experts, and the number of topics regarding the actor (number of news articles) and such to choose the number 1 best actor.

“2010 Best actor” award results will be published on the 17th through East Asia Daily Weekend Section and O₂ of dongA.com.

Last year’s online voting champion was KBS “Boys Over Flower” Lee Minho, however “best actor” award went to MBC “Queen Seon Duk” Ko Hyunjung

[NEWS] U-Know Yunho, The Only Asian Artiste Invited To Perform At The Michael Jackson First Anniversary Memorial Concert!

U-Know Yunho was given the honor to participate in the 'The Michael Jackson First Anniversary Memorial Concert (THE Tribute Concert)' alongside world renown artistes from all over the world as the only Asian representative.

Fellow JACKSON5 member and older brother of Michael Jackson, Jermain Jackson has planned 'The Michael Jackson First Anniversary Memorial Concert' at England's Wembley Arena (seating 80,000), which is also famous for being the location of the LIVE AID concert, on June 8th in memory of Michael Jackson's death last year in June, 2009.

Artistes other than U-Know Yunho, the sole representative of Asia, are Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Price, and Santana, who have been confirmed to attend, while Stevie Wonder, Beyonce and Will.i.am. of the Black Eyed Peas are also planning to conglomerate in one location for the deceased star.

Mark Bush, a representative of the concert, stated, "While we were looking through footage of artistes around the world, we saw U-Know Yunho's promotional footage and other representatives, who have been watching him rehearse and were amazed by his talent, recommended him highly to us so we decided to invite him to attend."

'The Michael Jackson First Anniversary Memorial Concert' is planned to be aired worldwide on television in June, which would mean that U-Know Yunho will be the center of attention of artistes all over the world.

On the other hand, U-Know Yunho will be performing at 'A Tribute Band from Michael Jackson's This is It movie and U-Know Live', which will be held on March 27th~28th in Korea, before the concert in London.

TVXQ’s Yunho saved Solbi from drowning

Singer and talent Solbi chose TVXQ’s Yunho as the best man in a recent episode of MBC’s Come to Play.

Solbi talked about a time in which she almost drowned while filming a show. She said, “I was a rookie back then that had just debuted. Yunho was the first one to come and lend me a hand when I fell. It was a short gesture but it made me realize a lot. He didn’t even know me … I was very touched.”

Jewelry’s Eunjung also added, “Yunho is kind-hearted so he helps the poor and volunteers a lot.”

Meanwhile, Solbi also revealed the story behind her previous composer boyfriend.

TVXQ to sing theme track for Japanese movie OST

It was revealed today that TVXQ has been confirmed to sing the main track for The Summer You Danced (君が踊る、夏), an upcoming movie to be directed by Hideyuki Katsuki (Dekotora no Shu series). The song, which is titled With All My Heart, will be a fresh ballad that will be placed in the 2CD+DVD version TVXQ’s upcoming 『BEST SELECTION 2010』album as the eighth track.

The Summer You Danced will be directed by Hideyuki Katsuki, _. The film, which will be released in September, takes place at the Yosakoi Kochi summer festival in Japan. The plot revolves around a young person trying to fulfill the dreams of a seven-year-old child suffering from cancer. Mizobata Junpei will play the main character, an aspiring professional photographer; Ayane Oomori and Haruka Kinammi will play two sisters who will reunite the disbanded dance team of the Yosakoi Festival to fulfill the dreams of the ill child.

The actors starring in this movie also include Igarashi Shunji, DAIGO, Tatsuya Fujiwara, Yoshiko Miyazaki and Masahiro Takashima.

TVXQ’s Jaejoong goes back to blonde

Kpop’s #1 blonde bombshell, Jaejoong of TVXQ, has gotten fans buzzing with his recent hair change-up; after two years of black and brown, Jaejoong has dyed his hair blonde once again. It isn’t that distinctive platinum blonde from O promotions, but hey, I’m sure many fans are loving the ginger / honey blonde just as much.

Check out some photos of Jaejoong taken earlier at Gimpo Airport today; the idol was spotted sporting in a leopard print Colonize jacket and joined by Yoochun and Junsu.
