SNSD’s Seohyun makes a goof part 2!

Maybe Jung Yonghwa is making SNSD’s maknae lose her concentration on stage, but once again the maknae slipped up while performing Oh!

On this week’s Inkigayo, you can see Seohyun raise her arm too early near the end of the performance. She corrects herself quickly and thankfully didn’t squeak like last time, but it was a mistake nonetheless.

What I don’t understand is how netizens caught this. It happens in the corner of the screen for about half a second!

SNSD, SHINee, and more come together for The Blast!

Popular K-pop idols MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, 2AM, SNSD / Girls’ Generation, SHINee, and Lee Seung Gi got together earlier today for Super concert The Blast. They performed at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics stadium to celebrate a news agency’s success in garnering 500,000 members! MCs were absent from the stage, so these performers were the primary focus of those attending.

A representative from the planning committee stated, “We wanted to plan this Blast super concert so teens can gain new hopes and dreams as the upcoming school year approaches.”

SNSD’s Tiffany & Yuri to host Music Core with CNBLUE

SNSD’s Tiffany and Yuri are currently hosts on MBC Music Core and will be joined by indie rock band CNBLUE, to host and celebrate the very special 200th episode of the show!

Not only that but a special segment called Dance History will feature 2PM and SHINee with Park Hyun Bin collaborating with Hong Jin Young to put on a special trot medley.

This episode will feature many of our favorite idol groups like SNSD, CNBLUE, 2PM, SHINee, Kara, 2NE1, Brown Eyed Girls, Baek Ji Young, After School and many more, so be sure to stay tuned to allkpop!

SNSD’s Seohyun and CNBLUE’s Yonghwa spotted dating

As many of you know by know, SNSD / Girls’ Generation member Seohyun and CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa will become a married couple on the hit show We Got Married. Earlier we wrote about what happened, now you can see what happened.

Filming for the new couple has already begun and they were spotted earlier today at Lotte World, a large amusement park similar to Disney World. I can’t wait to watch this couple on the show, it should be very interesting! Check out some of the photos and fancams below

SNSD’s Seohyun is number 1 in…?

On the 16th, the online music site Box held a poll asking “Which singer do you want to receive a graduation present from?” The poll was went from the 8th of February to the 16th and had 3911 responses during that 8 day span.

Recently graduated Seohyun of SNSD got an overwhelming 44.46% of the vote! That’s 1739 people who would want the soon-to-be-wed maknae to give them a gift.

Netizen comments included, “If Seohyun came to my school, I think the aura would become heavenly,” and “If Seohyun handed me a graduation gift, I think it would be the world’s best graduation.”

In second place was 2AM’s Seulong who received 21.45% of the votes (839 votes); MBLAQ’s Lee Joon came in 3rd with 14.93% of the votes.

The other poll options included Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung and T-ara’s Hyomin.

It looks like people want Seohyun all to themselves & don’t want her hanging around Jung Yonghwa!

YoonA & Taecyeon confront each other about couple ring scandal

Although the couple ring situation between SNSD’s YoonA and 2PM’s Taecyeon was promptly clarified by Taecyeon via Cyworld back in January, it looks like the duo in question didn’t speak to each other about the issue until recently. It’s been revealed that YoonA and Taecyeon tied up loose ends during the filming for the first episode of SBS Family Outing.

For the first episode, the cast traveled to Misari Regatta, a park & boat racing track about twelve miles from Seoul. To get to the shooting location that early morning, YoonA and Taecyeon got on the same car.

The car ride was reportedly awkward at first, until YoonA brought up the topic of the couple ring matter. YoonA showed Taecyeon her ring, explaining that it was an SNSD member ring. In response, Taecyeon explained that his parents had gotten him his ring. With that, the atmosphere brightened and the duo enjoyed the rest of the drive.

This episode is set to air on February 21. The anticipation has been building for a few weeks now, so stay tuned for the broadcast!

Netizens hate the Seohyun – Yonghwa pairing?

We previously reported that SNSD’s Seohyun and CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa will be on MBC’s “We Got Married” as a new couple. But surprisingly, I’m not the only one making a huge deal out of this this new couple is already drawing concern from netizens.

With CNBLUE being involved in a lot of controversy lately, from plagiarism to their manager assaulting a fan, some netizens have questioned whether Jung Yonghwa should be on variety shows anymore. Netizens expressed, “Jung Yonghwa is always quiet. This is irrational,” and “He should have stopped at dramas (You’re Beautiful).”

On Seohyun being cast, netizens said, “She has only just graduated from high school and “marrying” at such a young age might give the wrong impression to some people,” and “This is a risky move for the ratings.”

Another thing brought up by netizens is Seohyun’s preference of sweet potatoes to boys! Reactions such as, “I’m completely against this marriage,” and “Rather than this, get married with a sweet potato instead,” have cropped up.

Of course, without a single episode having aired yet, Seohyun’s good image could calm down the raging netizens. On the other hand, not all netizens of the same opinion, some said, “At least watch the first episode.” and “These reactions are uncalled for this early when it hasn’t even aired.”

The “We Got Married” message boards have been flooded with these comments over this already controversial new couple.

SNSD’s Seohyun reveals her secret to taking a good graduation photo

On the latest episode of MBC’s Section TV, SNSD’s Seohyun was interviewed about her recent graduation. During the interview, Seohyun revealed her secret to taking a good graduation photo. She said, “I think you will look the prettiest if you are neat and clean, like a student.”

She also expressed her feelings towards her future, saying, “I want to enjoy my university life. I am excited because it will be different than the life I had in high school. … I’m sad thinking that I’m graduating already. … From now on, I will become a more responsible person.”

What kind of secret is that? I mean we can all try, but we all know she came out great in her graduation photo because she simply is beautiful.

SNSD’s Sunny reveals her face without makeup

On the latest episode of KBS Invincible Youth, G7’s first night together was revealed. During their first night, SNSD’s Sunny had to reveal her no makeup face because she had to wash her face before sleeping. Before washing her face, Sunny had something to say about Goo Hara of Kara’s fake eyelashes which she took out and left after washing her face. She said, “Who wears such long eyelashes!”

While Sunny was washing her face, Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha came up to her and said, “After this episode’s broadcast, the only results you’ll see from typing your name in the search tool will be ‘no makeup face.’” Sunny then whined replied, “I don’t want that. Please cut this part out of the episode.”

As soon as Kim Tae Woo saw Sunny’s face, he commented, “Who are you?” to which Sunny replied, “It’s Soon Gyu [Sunny's name].” As Sunny’s face was revealed, they called her “baby Soon Gyu.”

After revealing her no makeup face, Sunny also helped Kim Tae Woo wash his hair. With soap bubbling on his hair, Kim Tae Woo asked everyone, “What hairstyle do you like?” Sunny replied back, “Beckham style,” then Kim Tae Woo shaped his hair like David Beckham.

SNSD pulls victory with Oh! on Music Bank

SNSD is back for another round of live promotions with their hit title track Oh! Now that Seohyun has graduated from high school, the girls are officially all grown up as they return to Music Bank.

The girls have definitely made a successful comeback with their 2nd album, but will it last? With Kara returning with a new dark and sexy concept, when will SNSD bust out theirs? It’s definitely going to be a tough and close battle but not to worry, because the 9 girls will be down, down, down, down!

The show will still go on for SNSD’s Sunny

As previously reported, SNSD / Girls’ Generation member Sunny has been feeling under the weather recently.

According to SM Entertainment, in the last SBS ‘Inkigayo’ performance on the 11th, Sunny performed the group’s new popular song, ‘Oh!” with the rest of the members. Inkigayo is usually broadcasted every Sunday afternoon; however, because of the upcoming Lunar New Years celebration on the 14th, Inkigayo was prerecorded today, with Sunny present.

In addition, a representative of SME said, “Sunny will be performing on today’s Music Bank with SNSD as scheduled. Sunny is still taking medicine, but her condition has improved greatly since the 10th.”

On February 10th, Sunny was present on KBS2TV “Invincible Youth,” but because her fever was so high, she was unable to attend Shindong and Kim Shin Young’s Shim Shim Ta Pa radio show with her fellow members.

Thankfully all nine ladies will be able to perform together for both performances, and none of the music shows will exclude the most sunny (pun intended) member of SNSD. It still doesn’t seem like Sunny has healed completely so hopefully, SME will allow her sufficient time to rest before resuming with promotional activities again.

SNSD’s Jessica crashes servers

SNSD fans have once again showed their dedication and power.

Tickets for Jessica’s last performance in March for her musical debut in “Legally Blonde,” went on sale on the 8th (today). Well, immediately after ticket sales went live at 2:00 PM, Sones flooded the servers to purchase their tickets and crashed the servers. The site was inaccessible for nearly 30 minutes straight.

For those fortunate enough to have scored tickets, you are blessed. For everyone else, mash F5 harder next time.

SNSD’s Seohyun likes sweet potatoes

On today’s episode of Sweet Night, SNSD played a round of Ideal Type World Cup. Though they chose Song Seun Hun as their ultimate type at the end, maknae Seohyun had a different man thing on her mind.

SNSD’s Taeyeon revealed Seohyun’s huge love for sweet potatoes. A bit odd, yes. While the members were on the topic of dreaming about hot male celebrities, Seohyun said she’s never dreamed about a guy star when she was asked about it. Then Taeyeon said, “She probably dreams about sweet potatoes.”

The other members chimed in and agreed with Taeyeon’s funny statement. Then they all started to reveal that Seohyun is obsessed with sweet potatoes and has absolutely no interest in guys. Seohyun even chose sweet potatoes over Song Seung Hun! What kind of a girl in her right mind would do that?

Taeyeon also talked about how Seohyun packs herself sweet potatoes and eats them like a little hamster. She offers some to the members but she makes a face that reads, “I don’t actually want to give this to you.”

Who is SNSD’s ideal man as a whole?

We’ve all seen individual members of SNSD play the Ideal World Cup game before, but what about SNSD’s ideal man as a whole? Well that’s exactly what was revealed during the recent episode of Sweet Night in which SNSD (except YoonA) played the Ideal World Cup game as a group.



As an additional twist, the show also included childhood pictures of male celebrities during the game. It was funny to see how the votes sometime flipped for the pictures of celebrities back when they were children versus pictures of them now. However, once the the dust settles it was only 2PM’s Taecyeon and actor Song Seung Hun that remained standing, vying for the title of Korea’s most envied man. And with the final vote count of 6 to 2, Song Seung Hun was crowned as SNSD’s ideal man.

The whole time I was watching this, I was anxiously waiting for my picture to show up on the screen, but I guess the rumor floating around that I am not SNSD’s ideal man is true after all. I was really hoping that it was just another one of those stupid rumors my mom likes to spread in order to destroy my self esteem. Like that one time she told all the neighbors that I eat cereal with water and that I like to wear panties. FALSE! I do not eat cereal with water.
