Girl group 4minute received the ultimate star treatment upon their arrival in the Philippines. On February 4th, the group arrived at the Philippines Manila airport as a starting point for their 1 month Asia concert tour.
According to spectators, 4minute received VIP treatment the moment they set foot in Philippines. The country provided 4minute with bodyguards and special police forces.
Major media stations arrived much earlier at the airport station to meet and interview the girls. 4minute is especially unique because the members placed number one in various Asian music charts even before they released their album.
Meanwhile, the company in charge of 4minute’s Philippines promotions, Universal Music Philippines (UMP), stated that 4minute showed good manners (similar to other visiting European artists) by saying their greetings in the Philippine language.
